Flying Around the World With Google

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Becoming a global citizen requires more than just maps. Google provides some amazing interactive resources that can help your student visualize the world and learn about more than just geography. In this session, we’ll start by diving into their newest tool, the browser version of Google Earth, and explore the rich content you can use on any computer, including Chromebooks, Android devices, and soon, iPads and iPhones. We’ll then see how it connects with the rest of the Google geo collection: Maps, My Maps, Street View, the desktop version of Earth, and the Arts & Culture site. Bring your device and play along.
